Under rated trotting mare Time Up The Hill (Muscle Hill) has taken out the Group Three Heather Williams Memorial tonight at Addington Raceway in the hands of harness racing driver Katie Cox.
After racing competitively in recent stronger fields and back to the mobile start, Cox pushed the go button early with Time Up The Hill and she easily grabbed the front off the race favourite Paramount Empress.
“She is good from the mobile and she is certainly a lovely mare to drive and I really appreciate the opportunity to drive her,” driver Katie Cox told Trackside after the race.
On the home turn you could see Time Up The Hill was travelling the better and she cruised down to the line winning comfortably by two lengths.
“She was travelling very good the whole way and she sprinted home pretty well too. She did it reasonably easy in the end,” Cox said.
TIME UP THE HILL REPLAY
Canterbury trainer Michael Ward trains Time Up The Hill who trotted the mobile 1980m in a good mile rate of 1-58.3 with a quick last 800m in 56.5 and last quarter in 27.0 seconds.
