Trainers and drivers – we need you!

From October the New Zealand Herald is going to feature a Race of the Week, together with a trainer and driver to follow.

In order to make this look as good as we can we want to get professional profile pictures of the country’s trainers and drivers. But we need your help.

Starting at Addington this Friday we will be setting up a pop-up studio at race meetings around the country and we want everyone to come along looking their photogenic best.

Drivers will need to come in their silks, though the photos will not include helmets, and trainers are asked to wear smart casual.

After Addington, another studio will be set up at Banks Peninsula on Sunday followed by Timaru (October 3).

Other venues around the Country will be released in the coming weeks.

The Herald will publish the new segment in their Friday edition, starting October 1, and it will also be on-line. It’s a great way to promote our sport but also your individual profiles. We will require a photo of all trainers and drivers at some point.

All drivers and trainers engaged at the meetings listed will be contacted with more details in due course.
