Northern harness racing reinsman Tony Cameron scored the biggest win of his career when the Tony Herlihy trained Inasinglemoment (What The Hill) proved too good in the $110,000 Group One Breckon Farms Northern Trotting Derby at Alexandra Park tonight.
āSheās got a fair bit of speed this girl. We got a good run tonight and Iām just over the moon. I canāt thank Tony Herlihy enough for leaving me on. She was travelling good the whole way. Itās just amazing,ā Cameron told Trackside viewers.
Bred by Tony and owned by Chantelle Lawson and Suzanne Herlihy, Inasinglemoment settled last early before getting three back on the outside running line.
While some of her rivals began to struggle or had trouble getting a clean run, Cameron took Inasinglemoment wide on the track and she let down nicely to beat Look To Da Stars by three quarters of a length with an unlucky Empire City half a head back in third.
This was Cameronās first Group One winner. His only other group success came driving Temporale in the Group Three Greenland Cup.
