Millwood Nike (Captaintreacherous) heads a strong Mark and Nathan Purdon assault at Addington tonight and the Rolleston harness racing partnership look to be in for a rewarding few hours.

Unbeaten in her fourteen starts, Olivia Thornley has been given the task of piloting Millwood Nike in the Nevele R Fillies Heat.
Audio PlayerMark expects Millwood Nike to remain unbeaten especially with Aardiebytheseaside (Downbytheseaside) currently not racing.
The training partnership also has last start winner Luvstruck (Art Major) in the three year old fillies feature.
Audio PlayerThe All-Stars have a host of other top chances tonight including Vessem (Vincent) who’s looking to keep his unbeaten record when he lines up in the fourth heat of the Woodlands Stud Sires’ Stakes for two year olds.
The barn also has last start winner Chase A Dream (Captaintreacherous) in the juvenile feature and Purdon is happy with his progress.
Audio PlayerChase A Dream is Mark’s pick for slightly longer odds on the Addington card.
In the Dunstan Horsefeeds Sires’ Stakes for two year old fillies three All-Star runners face the mobile arm.
Waterfront (Downbytheseaside) draws best at barrier four and she caught the eye when running on late at Addington two weeks ago.
Audio PlayerTreacherous Baby (Captaintreacherous) got locked away on the inside at her last start in Auckland and didn’t get a run until too late. She will likely start favourite.
Audio PlayerThe All Stars third chance is Madrid (Bettor’s Delight) who ran second on debut and couldn’t be driven out.
Audio PlayerAt this time of the year leading into Cup Week, we can expect the All-Stars runners to be primed and ready to go.
Meanwhile Mark was happy with Akuta (Bettor’s Delight), Self Assured (Bettor’s Delight) and Don’t Stop Dreaming (Bettor’s Delight) after their run last Friday at Addington.
“I’m happy with both Akuta and Self Assured. There’s a race at Addington on the 13th with a maximum handicap of twenty five metres, then it’s on to Ashburton after that. Don’t Stop Dreaming is good. Being a colt and off the scene for so long he needed the run the other night. He was a head and two half heads away for the winner. He’s come back well.”
