Quality harness racing filly Virginia Clowers (Creatine) is at the head of the class when it comes to Arna Donnelly’s runners for Cambridge tomorrow night.
Three of her last five starts have been in group company. At her last start she got keen behind the mobile and broke, taking no part. In Race One she starts from position one in the 2200 metre stand. (=Best bet)
In Race Three Donnelly lines up Mannion (American Ideal) who draws the inside of the second row and follows out Ohoka Achilles (Art Major). He likes to run the gate.
Le Major (Art Major) put in a terrific run last start at Alexandra Park. After getting back early he ran home well for third. He draws the inside of the second row in Race Five. (=Best bet)
In Race Eight the stable is represented by two, two year olds Major Major (Art Major) and Beta Prepare (Bettor’s Delight).
Major Major is a half-brother to War Dan Delight (Bettor’s Delight) and Raukapuka Ruler (Bettor’s Delight). He’s been back to the trials since running ninth at Alexandra Park.
First starter Beta Prepare is out of quality eight win mare Running On Faith (Soky’s Atom).
Donnelly’s night ends in the last race where she has two three year old fillies. Keep It Klassy (What The Hill) draws barrier one and Tequilla Sunrise (What The Hill) has got barrier four.
Keep It Klassy has had just two starts and last raced in March but has had one workout (3rd) in preparation for this start.
Tequilla Sunrise ran seventh on debut two weeks ago and still has a lot to learn.
