Gore harness racing trainer Brian Norman has six runners for the Riverton Trotting Club’s meeting at Central Southland Raceway in Winton on Saturday.
Three are from the last handful of crops left by great Southland stallion Washington VC.
In Race One Norman lines up Matua Maria (He’s Watching). The six year old mare has shown her best form on the Winton track with two last start thirds.
In Race Two Gems Delight (Bettor’s Delight) who showed improved form at her last start seven days ago, draws two on the second row.
Sherwood Maggie (Live Or Die) gets into a winnable race in the fourth with a potentially good marble to lead from.
Foxing Easton (Washington VC) faded to seventh on debut after leading. He draws two in Race Five.
Whata Razzle Dazzle (Washington VC) is getting better at the trotting gait these days. He’s won ten races pacing so he knows how to win, though he’s still not full proof.
Superfast (Washington VC) was a last start winner at Winton. The win was due reward for a string of previous placings. She gets a nice draw at three on Saturday in Race Nine.
