Father and son harness racing training partnership Brent and Tim White lines up seven horses at the Kurow meeting at Oamaru on Sunday.

They have twenty three wins on the board and plenty of firepower to get beyond thirty winners this season.

Prides Contessa (Washington VC) starts from the unruly slot on the outside of the second row in Race Two. At her last start the slow early pace didn’t suit her.

In Race Three, the Whites line up trotter What A Star (What The Hill). The three year old broke on debut and has been back the trials since.

Bobby Waterhouse (American Ideal) gets a nice draw (3) in Race Four. His run at Addington two weeks ago was one of an improver. He was back early, moved up to sit parked and battled on well for fourth. The four year old is Brent’s best bet.

The consistent Franco Messi (American Ideal) faces a small but quality field in Race Five. He broke early in his last race at Ashburton but still ran a good fourth.

In Race Seven the Whites have two trotters in the largest field of the day. Kohli Trouble (Superfast Stuart) doesn’t appear to be trotting well at the moment and will need to improve his gait to be competitive.

Four year old Sassy Star (Majestic Son) has let punters down recently but if she trots she’s a winning chance.

Three year old Bluto (Sweet Lou) faces his biggest test to date in his five start career. He takes on more seasoned pacers in the $20,000 Kurow Cup. Sunday’s 2600 metre pacing feature will be his first start from the stand.
