A closer look
With A Bang is out of the McArdle mare Flashbang, the winner of four races, and he looks capable of progressing through the grades.
āWeāll head to the Nuggets Final which is worth twelve grand.ā
Back to the birdcage
The two syndicates that own the gelding were put together by Invercargill City Councillor Peter Kett whoās also on the committee of the Invercargill HRC.
āTheyāve got 150 or more members. We just qualified another one of their horses the other day, Ā Talkin Unowhat. Heāll make the grade too but heās a bit immature and he has done things wrong. Weāve bought a Sweet Lou yearling off Dave Kennedy so thatāll keep us going.ā
The race was named Own A Share In With A Bang Mobile Pace and after that impressive win Kettās phone will be running hot.
