Pukekohe harness racing driver Zachary Butcher has a solid book of drives at the Auckland meeting tomorrow night.
Day Dreamz (Bettor’s Delight) trained by Steven Reid is his first drive of the night in Race One. The three year old filly has had three starts without a placing but gets a draw (3) to improve her form line.
Two year old filly Supertramp (Vincent) has had one start back in this campaign for trainers Barry Purdon and Scott Phelan. She gets a nice draw at one in what looks like a winnable race for her.
In Race Four Butcher links up with the Peter and Vaughan Blanchard trained Hugotastic (Sweet Lou) who gets a handy draw at two. He carries good winter form this campaign. Hugotastic is Zachery’s best bet of the night.
Zachary lines up his own stable runner Mantra Blue (Sweet Lou) in the third heat of the Nevele R Three Year Old Fillies Series (Race Eight). She impressed on debut, winning by five and quarter lengths.
Butchers’ night rounds out with Montana DJ (Captaintreacherous) for the Purdon/Phelan barn in Race Ten. He’s had a freshener since finishing fifth at Cambridge at the beginning of July and has had one quiet workout to prepare him for this race.
