Boxing Day card cancelled in Bermuda

The Boxing Day Harness Pony Racing has been cancelled due to the weather.

A spokesperson for the Harness Pony Club said, “Unfortunately, we are once again in a difficult situation with the forecast and weather for today and for tomorrow’s scheduled rain day.

“As much as we want to have the races go on, and we know everyone works hard to get ready to race, mother nature seems to be working against us with today’s weather and the prediction for worse tomorrow as well.

“We will run the already set New Year’s Day schedule on New Year’s Day and, if there are no changes to entries, we will run the Boxing Day schedule on our January 7th scheduled race day. See you all for New Year’s Day races.”
