Vincent Delaney Memorial moving to Wolverhampton, UK

The VDM Committee is pleased to announce that the harness racing dates for next year’s Vincent Delaney Memorial Weekend will be August 10-11th, 2024. The festival will be held at a new venue in 2024, Wolverhampton Racecourse in the United Kingdom.

“Wolverhampton is one of the biggest tracks in Britain. For them to reach out about hosting the VDM, really shows you just how much the event has grown, and how seriously the caliber of racing has improved,” said VDM Chairman Derek Delaney, “We want to thank Tir Prince for all their support and professionalism as hosts over the last 3 years.”

Wolverhampton Racecourse is located outside of Wolverhampton, UK. For visitors, the closest airport is Birmingham. The racetrack has hosted over 120,000 guests a year since its opening in 1888. Besides the top-class racecourse, Wolverhampton also boasts an onsite hotel, bars and restaurants, making it a first-class venue for events.
