Jason Settlemoir, USTA Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the three Jeff Gural tracks (Meadowlands, Tioga, and Vernon), is this week’s guest on the Harness Racing Alumni Show.

Jason discusses with Freddie, Trade and Bob the possible closing of Vernon Downs and the reasons that it could occur if the racetrack doesn’t receive a tax break from the state of New York. Jason then discusses the possibility of the 10-million-dollar racing subsidy ending in New Jersey.
This could happen, if the NJ SBOA doesn’t support HISA and who knows what racing would be like without that necessary funding. Settlemoir closes the show with his opinion on the three changes that need to take place with the USTA. It’s a broadcast that you don’t want to miss.
