Kincsem Park Classics held

The featured Dr. Jozsef Vecsekloy Memorial (purse 2,000,000HUf, 1800 meters autostart) was raced this day over two heats with the stake winner awarded on best placing. The front striding Zseneroz (6f SJs Photo-Hitelezo-Witsends Speedy) won both heats, the first in 1.14.8kr, for driver Gyorgy Horvath and trainer Zoltan Ozvar.

Zseneroz winning first heatThis was her first victory in four 2021 outings. Off at 4/1 odds in the first heat, she defeated 7.5/1 Zona (6f Offenbach Bigi-Kana-Valley Guardian) teamed with Emil Csordas  and 4.2/1 Villam Ville (7g Beissinger Hanover-Izaville-Endless Sands) handled by Goran Zolnaji

In the second heat Zseneroz won more convincingly in 1.15.4kr and off at 7/2 odds for pilot Horvath. This was her second 2021 victory as she bested 1.9/1 Zolta (6m Naglo-Gazza Jet-Supergill) for Veljko Mazsity and third finishing 6.3/1 Zona for reinsman Emil Csordas. This set the final stake placing at Zseneroz, first, followed by Zona and  Zolta.

Zseneroz winning the second heat  The co-featured Hippodrom Es Lovanda Spriner Kupa (Gr. II, purse 2,000,000Huf, 1800 meters autostart) went to 1.14.4kr timed and 4.2/1 Unno del Duomo (8m Ganymede-Irma del Duomo-Lemon Dra) for trainer/driver Goran Zolnaji. He bested 4.6/1 Maugli (5g El Nino-Marisha Vila-Zerberus) for trainer/driver Janko Sagaj of SLO. Third was the 1.7/1 favorite Amy del Duomo (5f Daguet Rapide-Lily del Duomo-Muscles Yankee) handled by trainer/driver Vladimir Prirbic of SRB.

In the Nemzeti DIJ (Gr. I, purse 2,000,000Huf, 1960 meters distance handicap) 2/1 odds Csak a scel (3f Ken Warkentin-Nana-Tony Oaks) scored in 1.18.8kr for trainer/driver Imre Fazekas and owner C’est la Guerre (owner of the great Nana). 3/1 odds and 40 meter handicapped Borutka (4f Illetmeny-Night Lady-Tony Oaks) was second for trainer/driver Tibor Hajnal and 3.3/1 Charlie’s World (3m Racino-Ordoglany-Wall Street Banker) was third for Andor Angyal.

On the undercard Uptown Boy M (8g Cigar Dan-Malhana Serey) scored in 1.16.3kr in the Effendi Handicap (600,000Huf purse, 1800 meters autostart). Bo Capar (4g Calypso Capar-Ronc Szepe) took the Tokaj DIJ (500,000HUf purse, 1800 meters autostart) in 1.19.5kr for Imre Fazekas. Zanta Font (6f Quaker Jet-Life Together-Uronometro) was victorious in the Butterfly DIJ (700,000HUf purse, 1800 meters autostart) timed in 1.14.8kr for Goran Zolnaji.
