2024 Buffalo Raceway stall applications available

Hamburg, NY– Stall applications for the 2024 harness racing season at Buffalo Raceway are now available to horsemen through various sources.

Applications can be obtained at the redesigned website www.buffaloraceway.com under “Forms,” by contacting Race Secretary Tom Agosti at 716-649-1280 ext. 6234 or picked up at the Western New York Harness Horsemen’s Association office located at Batavia Downs. Applications are due by January 31.

Live Racing at the ½ mile racetrack will begin Saturday March 2 and will run through July 20. Post time on Wednesdays will be 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  Beginning in April, Fridays will be added with post time at 2:30 p.m.  The full schedule can be found here.

“Average daily purses will exceed $100,000, with the Open class racing for $14,500.” noted Agosti. “We’ve also brought back the same condition sheet from last year as we saw competitive races and a 30% increase in handle.”

In April, the Raceway will be featuring another “Jump Start Series” for horses who have had a minimum of two starts at Buffalo Raceway in 2024. More information regarding the series will be released closer to Opening Day.
