Winner of $5k shares it back to SRF

Cream Ridge, NJ – 12/7/2021 – The winner of the Standardbred Retirement Foundation’s, (SRF) raffle to win a cool $5,000 cash is Dr. Martha Goldstein from Rockville, MD.

Dr. Goldstein was close to speechless when we called her, that’s typical for most people when they become a winner. She was quick to offer to share her prize back to SRF. Dr. Goldstein said that she and her husband had great memories of racing horses at the Meadowlands, and Freehold.

She recalled a few names of the horses she had owned, Bar Hop, Stormy Pike, and San Diego Hanover. She is a widow now and keeps these good memories in front of her as she supports SRF.

SRF thanks all of its supporters. Fundraisers are responsible for how it is able to feed 484 horses under its care and expense. Happy holidays to all!
