Plainville, MA –— The Wicked Hi-5 pentafecta at Plainridge Park has not been hit since September and the carryover has been growing exponentially. With that pool now standing at $47,420 and the meet ending on Friday (Nov. 27), Plainridge has announced that Friday's Hi-5 wager in race six will carry a guaranteed $75,000 pool with a mandatory payout. If there is no unique winning combination purchased, the track will pay out on the closest winning combination(s) wagered.
The Wicked Hi-5 on Friday will be part of the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering program and as such, a free program page for the race are available on the USTA's website (ustrotting.com) under the "Handicapping Tab" or by clicking here. The $75,000 guaranteed pool is the largest ever offered in the 21-year history of Plainridge Park.
Post time for the first race on Friday is 1 p.m. The $75,000 guaranteed Hi-5 sixth race is slated to go off at 2:40 p.m.
