WASHINGTON, PA, March 3, 2023 — Refreshed by an easy second quarter, A Fair Ol Dance N (A Rocknroll Dance-Presidential Affair) drew away from the harness racing field and scored under wraps in Friday’s (Mar. 3) $19,300 Open Handicap Pace at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.
A Fair Ol Dance N reached the top in a contested 26.3 opening panel over a sloppy surface. But when Ronnie Wrenn gave him that 30.1 second-quarter breather, the 8-year-old gelding opened a x-length lead at the three-quarters and scored comfortably in 1:52.1. Howard Hughes N raced well first over for second, x lengths back, while the pocket-sitting Carolina Beach was third.
