WASHINGTON, PA, May 19, 2023 — A Real Legend (Uncle Peter-Pink Ribbons) reeled in the tiring leader, Redwhite N Goo, in mid-stretch and captured Friday’s (May 19) harness racing feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $13,600 Conditioned Trot.
Redhite N Goo quarter-poled to the top and opened a daylight lead. But A Real Legend moved from fifth for Don Irvine, Jr. and had plenty in the tank. The 3-year-old gelding scored in 1:55 over a good surface, matching his career best. Littlesammy, who followed the winner’s cover, was second, a neck back, while Redwhite N Goo saved show.
