Agenda released for Global Symposium on Racing

The University of Arizona Race Track Industry Program will be hosting the 47th annual Global Symposium on Racing that will be taking place at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Arizona on December 6 – 8, 2021.

A late addition that is not on the agenda is members of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (HISA) will be featured on Tuesday, December 6. You will hear detailed reports from the Anti-Doping and Medication Control Committee and Racetrack Safety Committee.

On Tuesday, December 7 USTA president Russell Williams is on a special panel.

HISA’s Impact: Observations From The Quarter Horse & Harness Industry
Executives from the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) and the United States Trotting Association (USTA) will present their concerns over the effect that HISA will have on their respective racing programs.
