Tylor Price scored his first pari-mutuel victory

Delaware, Ohio—Three races for GLADA amateur drivers in were featured today (Sept 19) at the home of the Little Brown Jug and when the judges declared each official, Alesha Binkley, Jazmin Arnold and Tylor Price were victorious in their respective divisions.

Binkley won with Lucius Vorenus in 1:58.4 while Arnold copped her split with Mj’s Libertyvalance in 2:01.1 and Tylor Price was victorious with Quadrangle in 1:58.1.

In her division Binkley’s trotter was sent away as second choice in the 6-horse field and she wasted no time sending her charge to the lead. And once on top she gave the veteran Father Patrick trotter his head and Lucius Vorenus began putting daylight between him and his rivals drawing off to a 7-1/2 length triumph over the betting favorite Gonna Fly (Steve Oldford). PC’s Alleyway garnered the show dough for Shawn Sweeney.

Lucius Vorenus is owned and trained by Stacey Van Hulzen. He paid $6.20 for win. For Ms Binkley it was her 27th career winning drive.

LUCIUS VORENUS REPLAY

The ladies continued to shine when Jazmin Arnold used the front end route to notch a nose victory with MJ’s Libertyvalence in 2:01.1. After cutting all the early fractions Arnold’s trotter hung tough and eked-out a very close nose victory over Steve Oldford’s A Royal Line.

Doyle Bross owns and trains the altered son of Wishing Stone who returned a $7.80 win mutuel. And for Ms Arnold it was her 27th career driving victory.

MJ’S LIBERTYVALENCE REPLAY

In his split Tylor Price was content to follow the leaders until the halfway point where he moved Quadrangle off the pylons and began moving up. Content to follow Don Sherman’s Heidi’s Heart to the head of the lane and then rally his trotter to a neck triumph over Sheman’s charge in 1:58.1. Utopia garnered the show dough for Tony Verruso.

Quadrangle is owned by James Dutton and trained by Tylor Price. He paid $14.00 for win  And for
