Dave Palone five away from 20,000th career win

WASHINGTON, PA, June 24, 2022 — Harness racing Hall of Fame driver Dave Palone is on the verge of a historic milestone — his 20,000th career driving win. Entering Friday’s action, Palone has 19,995 victories. This is uncharted territory, as no driver has achieved 20,000 wins, and it isn’t clear that any other driver will achieve that number in the future.

Palone will be in action at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows on Friday (first post 5:10 PM) and Saturday (first post 12:45 PM), with 18 scheduled driving assignments over those two cards.

The carryover for Friday’s Jackpot Pick 5 (race 4) at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows has jumped to $24,273.24. The Meadows offers the Jackpot Pick 5, with a 20-cent minimum wager, with each live card.

Friday’s 11-race program also features a $2,862.99 carryover in the final-race Super Hi-5. First post is 5:10 PM.
