Sayre, PA. – Allerage Farms are pleased and excited to announce the very first foal arrivals of the 2024 harness racing season.
Born at the Stanfordville, NY farm on February 6th was among the earliest of the Ecurie D foals, this one a filly from the maiden mare Plum Wine. The dam took a 1:59f record at age three and is the only surviving female from Allerage foundation mare Magenta Hall, making Plum Wine a half-sister to the million-dollar winning 2013 Yonkers Trot champ, Dewycolorintheline.
Over at the Sayre, PA location on February 8th came a colt by the red-hot Tactical Landing, the third foal of stakes winner Smoke And Mirrors 3, 1:55.3 ($290,787).
Both mares and foals are doing well.
