Harness racing driver Jason Bartlett has now won 11 races in the past two days after he scored five times on Wednesday evening at Yonkers Raceway.
The Goshen resident earned a grand slam at the lines at Yonkers on Tuesday ā as well as two wins at Pocono earlier in the day ā and resumed his winning ways in race five on Wednesday at the Hilltop. Bartlett piloted Stinglike A B K ($6.50), a five-year-old Nicole Diconstanzo-trained Andover Hall stallion, to a lifetime-best 1:55 victory in that contest.

He then led at every split with Man Dontforget Me ($4.60) in the feature pace, completing that mile in 1:52.2. Daniel Renaud trains that four-year-old daughter of Manhardt.
MAN DONTFORGET ME REPLAY
Bartlett rattled off wins three and four in quick succession with Summer Rae ($5) in the ninth in 1:53 and Tango Dancer N ($2.50) in the tenth, timed in 1:53.4. The former is a three-year-old Roll With Joe filly trained by Tom Fanning; the latter is a six-year-old Kelvin Harrison trainee, sired by A Rocknroll Dance.

In Spades ($8.30) held strong to the finish for Bartlett in the finale, winning by a nose in 1:55 for the horseās first win of 2021 after 19 tries. In Spades is a seven-year-old Bettors Delight gelding; Brandon Todd trains him.

Bartlett is now striking at a 23 per cent rate in July after winning less than 13 per cent of races from January to June.
Yonkers Racewayās next card on Thursday, Jul. 8 features a $40,000 Fillies and Mares Preferred Pace and a $36,000 conditioned event.
