Another record pool at Pompano

Pompano Beach, FL…Jan 29, 2020…On the heels of a record $127,452 Pick-4 pool on Monday, Pompano Park had yet another pari-mutuel pool record in the Pick-6 on Tuesday night as that pool was barraged by the Send-It-In Army to the tune of $112,279.

When all was said and done, the 5-4-4-4-2-2 sequence paid $6,682.05, an astounding total with not one of the six winners being more than 9 to 2 in the betting.

The Pick-6 race winners were New Number Who Dis (Mike DeRuntz-$5.60), Bring Me Diamonds (Peter Wrenn-$10.60), Galarina (Andy Santeramo-$11.40), Lyons Johnny (John MacDonald-$9.20), Jazzy Image (Kevin Wallis-$10.40) and Jaded Dream (Michael Cushing-$5.40).

The action continues at the South Florida oval on Wednesday with the Super Hi-5 finale carryover of $96,140.78.
