The numbers keep rising in ADB-Fubinaca (synthetic cannabis) positives and the latest one is harness racing trainer Charlene Sharpe, whose horse, Backwater Belle, came up positive after racing at Rosecroft Raceway on April 2, 2024. Sharpe has been fined $2,500 and suspended for 360 days. She has appealed the ruling.
Trainer Beborah Alexander has been fined $1,000 and suspended for ten days for leaving her horse, Mel Rose Dunn, unattended in the race paddock at Miami Valley Raceway on April 29, 2024. She left the horse for hours until they closed the race paddock and another trainer took the horse to a stable until it was picked up the next morning.
We are still waiting for a report on the numerous ADB-Fubinaca positives in Delaware.
