Aptly named Wager On Me upsets in Open

 HARRINGTON, DE – George and Tina Dennis’ Wager On Me (Bettor’s Delight) and harness racing driver Ross Wolfenden were an upset winner in the $20,000 Open Pace Monday (April 24) at Harrington Raceway.

The 7-year-old gelding utilized a strong wide rally late off cover to surge by the leaders and record his 5^th win of the year for trainer Joe Columbo, who had three winners on the card. It was Wager On Me’s 26^th career win as he boosted his lifetime earnings to $308,209. Major Betts was second, while Velocity Komodo was third. Wager On Me paid $19.60 to win.
