Bailey vs. Long – Drivers title goes down to the wire

Closing night of the 2025 harness racing season at Vernon Downs is Saturday (November 15) and the drivers title and trainers title is still wide open.

Leon Bailey goes into the closing weekend with 106 wins.  Chris Long is only four behind with 102 victories.  Both drivers have a lot of drives this weekend and it could go down to the last race of the season.

The top trainer title could go down to the wire as well.  Michelle Warner and David Dewhurst are currently tied with 37 wins each and Gary Gibson trails by only two at 35 trips to the winner’s circle.
