Bangor Raceway seeks Racing Operations Manager

Bangor, ME – August 16, 2024)   Hollywood Bangor is seeking applicants for Harness Racing Operations Manager to oversee all harness racing and wagering on a year-round basis.    Interested individuals can apply here under the CAREERS section.

Michael Hopkins, the current racing manager for Hollywood Casino, Hotel and Raceway in Bangor, has announced his retirement effective November 1.    Hopkins is an original employee of Hollywood Bangor serving for several years as head of security at the casino before shifting to oversight of all racing and wagering operations.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my 19 years as a member of the Hollywood Bangor team,” said Hopkins.   “We have great team members, and it has been a pleasure working closely with everyone in the Maine Harness Racing industry as well.    I want to make sure Bangor Raceway and the industry to continue to move forward in the future,” Hopkins added.
