Harness racing driver Jason Bartlett held court at Yonkers Raceway Monday evening, winning six of the eleven races on the card, including the $39,000 Open Pace.
Bartlett won the first four races on the card, then the eighth race and made it number 6 in the 9th race, which was the Open Pace.
Starting from post four with the race favorite Anothrmastrpiece N (Bettorās Delight), Bartlett sent the seven-year-old stallion from New Zealand after early race leader Casual Cool (Braxten Boyd), clearing to the lead by the opening quarter mile in :27.
They raced single file to the half in :55.4 and it was not until the backstretch that Family Recipe (Brent Holland) moved first-over from third place, giving outside cover to The Real One (Pat Lachance).
Past the three-quarters in 1:24.2, Family Recipe could not gain any ground on Anothrmastrpiece N as he and Bartlett pulled away in the stretch to win by two and one-half lengths over Casual Cool with The Real One third.
