HARRINGTON, DE – A trio of $20,000 1st leg harness racing divisions of the Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) for 2-year-olds were contested on Monday (Sep. 25) at Harrington Raceway.
Gretchen Roland’s Beat Cop (Dragon King, $2.40, Tim Tetrick) was the fastest elimination winner with a 1:56.2 win over There Goes Bubba and Shocking Truth. The colt notched his 4th career win for trainer Chris Scicluna.

Ā Tina Clark and Gary Evans’ Come On Eddie (Classic Card Shark, $19.20, Montrell Teague) was an impressive winner in the 1st division over Unexpected Twist and Rowdy Dragon. The Bob Clark-trainee scored an impressive first-over win. The gelding registered his first lifetime victory in 1:58.
COME ON EDDIE REPLAY
Ā Ross Wolfenden’s Cavalli Island (Badlands Hanover, $5.20, Wolfenden) was a 1:57.1 winner in the final division over Sixftfornfulofmuscl and Better Dig Two. The gelding earned his first career win in his 3rd lifetime start for his owner/trainer/driver.
CAVALLI ISLAND REPLAY
Ā In the $20,000 Open, Elizabeth and Bret Brittingham’s Itsrockandroll A (A Rocknroll Dance, $3.20, Allan Davis) won his 7th straight race in 1:52.1. Despite post 8, the 8-year-old gelding was able to get away fourth early and gain confidently first-over before edging clear of pacesetter On The Cards N late for the win. Water Sports Teen was third.

Montrell Teague had 4 wins on the card, while Tony Morgan had a driving triple. Corey Callahan and Wolfenden each had a double.
