Believer (Cantab Hall) and driver Ridge Warren captured the $10,000 featured harness racing trot at Tioga Downs on Friday (July 21).

BJ Lorado (Aaron Byron) was first to the quarter in :27.4. Believer ($4.90) took over control with a circuit to go. He was first to the half in :57.3. He cruised to three-quarters in 1:25.3.
As they made the turn for home Believer was all by himself winning in 1:54.3. Golden Kronos (Bruce Aldrich) was second. BJ Lorado finished third.
Believer is a 5-year-old horse trained by Randy Taft for owners Mali Norbye and Arnold Wilson. It was his sixth win this season. He now has 21 career victories.
BELIEVER REPLAY
Leading driver Mike Merton gets a driving grand slam. He combined with trainer Dan Gassien for wins with St Lads Dark Angel and Red Dirt Hot Shot. His other wins came with Amini and Miley Rose.
