EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – With the Breeders Crown countdown at just four weeks, The Meadowlands will feature the Kindergarten Series action this weekend as it concludes the September portion of the Fall race meeting with 12-race programs Friday (Sept. 24) and Saturday (Sept. 25) that kick off at 6:20 p.m.
Live racing will go dark at The Big M for three weeks at the conclusion of this Saturday’s card and will return on Friday, Oct. 22, a program that will feature eliminations for the Crown. Crown elims will continue on Oct. 23 before the big-money finals take place on Oct. 29-30.
As usual, simulcasting, as well as sports betting at the FanDuel Sportsbook, will continue at The Big M during the break.
“All of us at The Meadowlands are excited to have the Breeders Crown back at our track for the first time since 2016,” said Meadowlands’ Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Jason Settlemoir. “And this Friday, we have six divisions of the Kindergarten for 2-year-olds. Last week, we saw many superb performances from horses in the series, many of whom will also be racing in the Crown.”
