Grove City, OH – The Buckeye Stallion Series will make up half of the 16-race card Monday, September 20 at the Delaware County Fair. Four harness racing divisions each of three-year-old colt-gelding pacers and two-year-old filly pacers will be contested, each with a purse of $17,500.
Four different colts-geldings will be looking for their third win in the series.
In the first division, King Klueber will look for his sixth win of the year for trainer Bruce Sturgeon.
The second division features King’s Cruiser who has won eleven of nineteen for trainer Jeff Nisonger. The other two- time winner is Sleeping Single for trainer Chris Beaver. Sleeping Single has won four of 14 this year.
In the fourth division, Letstrytowgleagain has won five of 16 for trainer Logan Powell.
Seven other colts have one win in the series. They include Barnard Hanover, Sir Charles Of Sky, Casecon, J W’s Chrome, Odds On Pick Six, Rockin Airway, and Walknafter Midnite.
Four division of two-year-old fillies pacers will be contested.
Two three-time winners will go to the gate.
Cruzinbytheseaside has three wins in seven starts for trainer Virgil Morgan Jr. while Future Ex-Wife has three wins in four starts for trainer Bill Rhoades.
Three two-time winners, Fantasy Life, Bittrsweetsymphony and McAngel, will look to win again in the Stallion Series.
Five fillies with one win in the series will also be in action. They include She Means Business, Osceola Hanover, Prancing Queen, Bowery, Coastal and She’sonebadmomma.
First race post time at the Delaware County Fairground is 3:00 PM.
