Six Gr. II and Gr. III events highlighted today’s rainy program at Paris-Vincennes at which there were four longer odds winners.
In the Gr. III monte Prix Legoux-Longpre (purse 85,000€, 2175 meters, eight starters ages 4-5) Jasper des Charmes (5m Kesaco Phedo-Une Toscane-Coktail Jet) scored timed in 1.11.2kr. This winner was the 1.4/1 odds favorite ridden by jockey Alexandre Abrivard for Ecurie des Charmes and trainer Jean Michel Bazire.
This was Jasper’s sixth career victory in 31 starts for 338,450€ earned. He defeated 14/1 Kapaula de l’Espine (4f Discours Joyeaux) with Adrien Lamy in the irons and 42/1 Joker de Frouloy (5g Magnificent Rodney) handled by Oscar Placier.

II Criterium 4 Ans Q2 named also the Prix Paul Leguerney (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 14 starters four year old females) the 9/1 odds Keen Winner (4f Ready Cash-Darling de Reux) scored easily in 1.12.7kr with Anthony Barrier driving in what would be his third win today. Ecurie Winner owns this one and Thibault Lamare trains the now six time career winner in 18 starts. Her earnings are 191,230€. The 34/1 Kabaka de Guez (4f Eridan) was second for driver Nicolas Bazire for owner Ecurie Vautors and trainer JMB. Katinka du Mouchel (4f Prodigious) took third money at 7.6/1 odds with Clement Duvaldestin up for trainer Thierry Duvaldestin.

II Criterium 3Ans Q1 (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 14 starters three years females) the 25/1 odds Lotta Bourbon (3f Prodigious-Vita Bourbon-Love You-Kamera Bourbon) scored in 1.12.6kr. Anthony Barrier teamed this Sebastien Guarato trainee for Ecurie du Haras de Saint Martin. This was her sixth career win in 13 starts for 197,965€ earned. Finishing second was 11/1 London (3f Rockfeller Center) with Mathieu Mottier the trainer/driver. Louisiane de Bomo (3f Ready Cash-Amelia Jet) was third at 7/1 for Benjamin Rochard and conditioner William Bigeon. The Prix Phaeton- Criterium Gr. II 4 Ans Q1 (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 10 starters four years males) saw 18/1 odds outsider Kristal Josselyn (4m Bold Eagle-City Sees-Sam Bourbon) score timed in 1.12.0kr. Anthony Barrier was again a driving winner this time for Sebastien Guarato who trains for Sebastien Dewulf.
Yvan Bernard bred this seven time career winner from 29 starts that now has earned 266,800€. The 4.3/1 Karlito (4m Ready Cash-Caulita-Rombaldi) was second for J.Ph. Monclin, trainer J.P. Monclin and Ecurie des Charmes. Keep Going (4m Follow You-Discovery Bond) was third at 5.3/1 odds with trainer Mathieu Mottier up for Jose Davit. Next up was the Prix Louis Jarel – Gr. II Criterium 5Ans Q1 (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, 13 starters five year olds) that was expected to yield to Jushua Tree but he made a miscue at mid-stretch and ran through the wire disqualified. Justin Bold (5m Bold Eagle-Udine) captured the lead and the victory at 14/1 odds with Yoann Lebourgeois up for Jean Remi Delliaux training for Ecurie du Damier.
Justin Bold now has 11 wins in 43 appearances for 469,180€. Ecurie des Mouettes bred the winner. Jassman Debailleul (5m Repeat Love-Scarlet Gaby) was second with Franck Nivard up for trainer/owner Erno Szirmay and off at 8.6/1 odds. Jolie Poupee (5f Quaker Jet) was third at 72/1 for Gabriele Gelormini and trainer J.M. Baudouin. II Criterium 3Ans Q2 (purse 120,000€, 2175 meters, nine starters 3 years males) produced a mild upset as 4/1 Lombok Jiel (3m Enino du Pommereux-Surabaya Jiel) rallied to win in 1.12.5kr for driver P-Y Verva and conditioner Jean Luc Dersoir. Ecurie Luck owns this one and he now has six career victories in 11 starts for 261,325€ in the bank.
Lovino Bello (3m Village Mystik) was a 2.2/1 favorite odds second with Alexandre Abrivard piloting the Jocelyn Robert trainee for Sandrine Robert. Little Brown (3m Goetmals Wood) was third in a pack at 25/1 odds with David Thomain teaming the Philippe Allaire trainee for Christophe Toulorge.
