The third leg of the series took place in the first race on the program. It was Msdinosis Bluegrass and driver Dexter Dunn who cut the mile with Boudoir Hanover and driver Todd McCarthy sitting second and Always Gonna B You (David Miller) following in third place.

Msdinosis Bluegrass cut fractions over the good track of :27.4, :56.3 and 1:24.3 before McCarthy came after the race leading with Boudoir Hanover.

Grabbing the lead by just a head at the top of the stretch, Boudoir Hanover had trouble putting away Msdinosis Bluegrass and then had to hold off the late closing Always Gonna B You at the wire to win by a head in 1:51.2, the last quarter mile in :26.3. Msdinosis Bluegrass was a half a length back in third.

BOUDOIR HANOVER REPLAY

Trained by Tony Alagna, it was the second straight win and fourth on the year for Boudoir Hanover. She is a homebred, bred by Riverview Breeding and Visionary Breeders and co-owned by Riverview Racing, Alagna Racing, Caviart Farms and D Plouffe and S Head. She paid $2.18 to win as the race favorite.

In a non-wagering race held over from Monday’s cancelation, Special Way (Walner) was able to come first-over in the backstretch for trainer-driver Ake Svanstedt and go on to win the $80,000 Kentucky Championship Series for two-year-old trotting fillies.

The third leg of the series saw Una Madonna (Yannick Gingras) cut the mile until Special Way came after her first-over by the three-quarters, taking the lead by three lengths at the top of the stretch and then cruising to the wire to win by two lengths in 1:54.1. Walner Payton (Dexter Dunn) was second with Life Itself (Tim Tetrick) third.

It was the second win in four lifetime starts for Special Way. The homebred daughter of Special Hill was bred and is owned by Brittany Farms LLC, Marvin Katz and Al Libfeld.
