Harness racing driver Corey Braden had a night to remember with a driving grand slam at Tioga Downs on Saturday (June 11).
Braden combined with trainer Edgar Clarke to get wins with Danzon Hanover ($6.50), and Major Houlihan ($21.00). His other wins came with Seven Credits ($20.20), and PL Olivia ($4.10).
Arnie’s Angel (Big Jim) won an exciting stretch duel for reinsman Jacob Cutting to capture the featured $10,000 fillies and mare’s pace.

Primo Extremo (Tyler Jones) went to the lead and led to the quarter in :28.1. She used a :30.0 second quarter and was first to the half in :58.1. Arnie’s Angel ($7.30) made her move going first-over down the backstretch. Primo Extremo was first to three-quarters in 1:25.2.
As they made the turn for home the duel was on. Arnie’s Angel slugged it out with Primo Extremo all the way down the stretch. Arnie’s Angel got by for good just before hitting the wire in 1:53.4. Primo Extremo had to settle for second money. Gold Star Igotdis (Corey Braden) finished third.
