Braxten Boyd gets a driving grand slam

Braxten Boyd gets a driving grand slam including a harness racing win with BB Lucky Boy (Luck Be Withyou) in  the featured $11,000 pace at Tioga Downs on Sunday (May 18).

BB Lucky Boy ($5,50) darted right to the front and led to the quarter in :27.1.  He used a :27.4 second quarter to lead to the half in :55.0. Century Heineken (Tyler Miller) was first to make a move going first-over down the backstretch.  BB Lucky Boy was first to three-quarters in 1:23.2.

As they reached the stretch it became a race for second as BB Lucky Boy won easily in 1:52.1.  Comet Crusader N (Jim Pantaleano) came up to get second money.  Braeview Bondi A (Tom Merton) finished third.

BB Lucky Boy by Luck Be Withyou.  Owned by Paul Kautz and trained by Cameron Capone.  It was his sixth win of 2025.  He now has 29 career victories.

Boyd got his other wins with Livonjaxandqueens, Scootnroll, and Passa-Grille Beach.  Trainer Cameron Capone had a training hat trick.
