Cal Expo set to reopen Nov. 19

Watch and Wager is set to kick off its 10th year as operator of Cal Expo harness on Friday, November 19.

The 46-night harness racing meeting will be conducted on a Friday/Sunday schedule this season with first post at 6:30 p.m. on Fridays and 4:50 p.m. on Sundays.

Overnight purses have been raised an additional 5 per cent to a nightly level of $54,000, a level not seen since 2007. Qualifiers will be held this Friday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m.
