Monticello, NY–The North American Amateur Drivers Association (NAADA) held a $7,500 harness racing trot Wednesday at Monticello Raceway.
The 6th race feature saw Charlie Longo move Crews Hilltopper (Break The Bank K) out in two-horse position and marched toward the lead but Mr Ridgetaker (Dave Yarock) wasn’t yielding command.
However, when they headed for home, Crews Hilltopper rallied and was a length winner over Yarock’s charge in 2:01.3.
There was a tight photo for the show dough, but Alan Schwartz got Awol Hanover up in the final strides for third money, nosing out Brilliant Bob and driver Scott Keppler.
