HARRINGTON, DE – Clark Stables and Tina Clark’s That Ole Bar Stool (Bar Hopping, $7.20, Corey Callahan) was a 1:56.1 harness racing winner in the $20,000 Open Trot Tuesday (Aug. 29) at Harrington Raceway.
The 4-year-old gelding sat behind pacesetter Manatlas, last week’s winner, throughout the mile before surging by in deep stretch for his 3rdĀ win of the year. A beaten favorite in his last start, That Ole Bar Stool atoned for that effort in achieving his 11thĀ career win for trainer Bobby Clark.

Allan Davis and trainer Jim King Jr. each won 2 of the first 4 races on the 15-race card. Davis had 3 wins on the card, including a pair for his son, trainer Tyler Davis. Trainer Clyde Francis, owner George Teague Jr. and driver Montrell Teague also teamed up for a double with a pair of 2-year-olds, Hustle Up ($2.60, Lather Up) and It’sonlyupfromhere ($2.10, Lather Up). Francis also won with Shear Magic ($8.60, Tony Morgan, Mr Wiggles) to complete a training triple. Ross Wolfenden had 3 wins on the card, while leading trainer Joe Columbo had a double. Corey Callahan had a driving double.
