The 4-year-old gelding sat behind pacesetter Manatlas, last week’s winner, throughout the mile before surging by in deep stretch for his 3^rd win of the year. A beaten favorite in his last start, That Ole Bar Stool atoned for that effort in achieving his 11^th career win for trainer Bobby Clark.

Allan Davis and trainer Jim King Jr. each won 2 of the first 4 races on the 15-race card. Davis had 3 wins on the card, including a pair for his son, trainer Tyler Davis. Trainer Clyde Francis, owner George Teague Jr. and driver Montrell Teague also teamed up for a double with a pair of 2-year-olds, Hustle Up ($2.60, Lather Up) and It’sonlyupfromhere ($2.10, Lather Up). Francis also won with Shear Magic ($8.60, Tony Morgan, Mr Wiggles) to complete a training triple. Ross Wolfenden had 3 wins on the card, while leading trainer Joe Columbo had a double. Corey Callahan had a driving double.
