Clever Cody takes second straight Ohio divisional title

Grove City, Ohio – Clever Cody (The Panderosa) claims back-to-back divisional harness racing awards, now being named the 2024 Ohio 3-Year-Old Colt Pacer of the Year.

Owned by Clever Cody Stable and trained by Dr. Ian Moore, he won five of 18 starts this season, including the $300,000 Ohio Sires Stakes Scarlet Championship. His seasonal earnings were $346,510.

Clever Cody was named the Ohio 2-Year-Old Pacing Colt of the Year in 2023. He claims a record of 11-4-2 in 28 career starts, banking $729,882 in lifetime earnings.

Marvin Raber bred the pacer.

Clever Cody will be honored at the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Annual Awards Banquet on January 18, 2025, at the Marriott Columbus Airport in Columbus, Ohio. Seats are sold out.

The 2024 Ohio Horse of the Year will be announced at the awards banquet.
