An exciting afternoon of Pennsylvania Sire Stakes harness racing action is set to take place at Harrah’s Philadelphia Sunday (Aug. 25) with purses totaling $187,712 in three divisions for two-year-old pacing colts and geldings.
The $62,304 first division is the 3rdĀ race pace spotlighted by Shipmaster (Captaintreacherous) who is coming off a 1:52.3 lifetime mark at Pocono Downs win on Monday (Aug. 24). He will be taking on Railroad Station (Sweet Lou), who starts from the rail for driver David Miller and has a record mile of 1:51.1 at the Meadows in PASS action.
Dreamboat Hanover (Papi Rob Hanover) headlines the 5thĀ race $62,707 division at odds of 2-1 odds. With lifetime earnings of $45,321, Dreamboat Hanover will have Todd Schadel in the sulky.
The 8thĀ race third division with a purse of $62,704 features TH Colby (Papi Rob Hanover) as the 2-1 favorite. Todd McCarthy will drive the Ron Burke trainee, who has lifetime earnings of $80,283 and has won three of his last four starts, the fastest a lifetime mark of 1:50.1.
The Sunday race card also features five $20,000 divisions of the PA Stallion Series for two-year-old pacing colts and gelding.
