Winning in any athletic competition is hard. Winning with consistency is what separates the best from the rest of the pack.
Since January of 2020, no horse at Rosecroft has won more harness racing contests than Precision Bluechip (Bettor’s Delight). While a rightful disqualification cost him his 40th career win last week, there would be no DQ this week as the eight-year-old won in 1:52.3 with a perfect pocket trip from Driver Hugh O’Neil.
Courtney Brooks owns and trains the winner who scored for the 23rd time since January of 2020, two more than Maryland Trotting Star, Judge Bob.
Marco Beach (Eric Davis) left in :25.4 from post nine and held gameley in a seven-horse photo for second, Snoopy Snoop (Trae Porter) was third and Fantastic Voyage (Jared Moyer) completed the superfecta.

In that same time frame, no two drivers have won as consistently as Jonathan Roberts and Russell Foster. Roberts who has scored 425 wins in that time and been in the money, 51% of the time, netted two wins with Quixote for trainer Michael Hall and White Rolls, the popular gray veteran pacer for trainer Amanda Malone.
Foster is second behind Roberts since the start of 2020 with 360 wins and a 48% in the money rate. Rosecroft’s current dash leader with 32, won three times on the Thursday night card with Taragon for trainer Kevin Altig, Tom’s Twilight for trainer Roger Hans and No Better Joy conditioned by Foster’s wife Megan.
Johnathan Ahle won twice on the card Thursday night with Jack Roger for trainer Katie Callahan and Ilderton AM for trainer Jason Walters.
Rosecroft is one week away from the $125,000 Potomac Pace for the best aged pacers in the country. A solid field is tentatively scheduled to compete next Thursday night, including multiple breeders crown entrants, and three, two-million-dollar winners. The draw is set for Monday.
