Grove City, OH – The first leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series for 2-year-old colt and gelding trotters heads to the Crawford County Fairgrounds in Bucyrus, Ohio, Wednesday July 20 with five harness racing divisions.  Each division will carry a purse of $17,500.

Thirty-four freshman trotters are entered with trainer trainers Marion Chupp and Rosy Weaver each sending four to the gate.

Weaver trainee Republic Return (Global Republic), and Grand Revival (Creatine) trained by Deborah Swartz will look to stay undefeated. Republic Return has won his first three starts of the year, while Grand Revival is two for two.
