WASHINGTON, PA, Aug. 6, 2021 — Dismissed at 14-1, Crossfit Mouse roared widest through the lane to spring the upset in Friday’s harness racing feature at The Meadows, a $12,100 Conditioned Trot.

Crossfit Mouse followed the first-over cover of Rainbowinthewest, but when that one tired, Hunter Myers needed to send the 4-year-old Muscle Mass-Zumba Mouse gelding three wide into the final turn.

Crossfit Mouse was more than willing, kicking by the leaders and scoring in a career-best 1:54.1. Keystone Chaos was second, a head back, with early leader Stickler Hanover third.

Dane Snyder trains Crossfit Mouse, who lifted his lifetime bankroll to $147,026, for Linwood Higgins, Jason Ash. Danielle Snyder and Kristine Kash.

CROSSFIT MOUSE REPLAY

Dave Palone collected three wins, including a pair for trainer Ron Burke, on the 12-race card.

Live racing at The Meadows continues Saturday when the 12-race program features a trio of carryovers: $1,659.85 in the final-race Super Hi-5; $1,312.44 in the Early Pick 4 (race 2); $1,086.44 in the Pick 5 (race 7). First post is 12:45 PM.
