Elitloppet favourite triumphs in 1,000,000SEK Paralympiatravet

The Paralympiatravet Final (Gr. I International, purse top winner 1,500,000SEK, 2140 meters autostart) went to Elitloppet 2023 invitee San Moteur (5m Panne de Moteur-Aung San Kri-Ready Cash) timed in 1.10.8kr.

Off at 1.47/1 odds the winner was reined by trainer Bjorn Goop for Stall Arvidssons AB to his second win in as many starts this year. His career slate is 17-2-1 in 22 starts for 8,912,540SEK earned. Hades de Vandel (6m Ganymede) was second for driver Robin Bakker and trainer Paul Hagoort. Rackham (7m Love You) was third for trainer/driver Christoffer Eriksson.

It was also announced this day that Philippe Allaire’s Hohneck received an invite to the Elitloppet on May 28. This consistent six year old son of Royal Dream-Caranca has won 1,415,190€ from an 18-12-11 slate in 48 career starts.

In the Gr. I International Konung Gustaf Pokal (1,000,000SEK first money, 2140 meters autostart) the 3/1 favorite Dancer Brodde (4m Bold Eagle-Dancing in Thehall-Cantab Hall) scored in 1.11.7kr for trainer/driver Johan Untersteiner. This winner now has three 2023 wins in as many starts and 10 career wins in 16 outings for 3,399,000SEK earned.

Tetrick Wania (4m Muscle Hill-Random Destiny-Ken Warkentin) was a game third for Conrad Lugauer after much of the journey on the outer. Karin Walter-Mommert owns this one that she bought for 3,000,000€ late in his two year old season. Bedazzled Sox (4m Brillantissme-Out Of The Kitchen-Here Comes Herbie) was third at 5.5/1 odds for Torbjorn Jansson, driving for trainer Roger Walmann.

In the STL Silver (125,000SEK to the winner, 1640 meters autostart) Conrad Lugauer prevailed as trainer/driver of Hidalgo Heldia (6g Raja Mirchi-Lady Heldia-Ganymede) timed in a quick 1.10.1kr.  Ogg at 4/1 odds this winner defeated Karat River (5g Muscle Hill-Diamond River-Ready Cash) reined by trainer/driver Johan Untersteiner and third finishing Vitro Diablo (7g Bold Eagle) with Orjan Kihlstrom aboard.

Also on the Aby card was the Lyon Grand Prix (250,000SEK first money, 2640 meters autostart) that 3.3/1 Kentucky River (5m Father Patrick-Flicka River-Ready Cash) won timed in 1.12.2kr. Trainer Per Nordstom teamed this winner for owner JimMit AB. Another Stall Courant AB owned performer won the STL Stoeliten (250,000SEL to the winner, 2140 meters autostart) as Imhatra AM (5f Muscle Hill-Tamla Celeber-Cantab Hall) was victorious in 1.11.7kr at 5.6/1 odds with Matts E. Djuse aboard for trainer Jorgen Westholm. This one now has 11 career wins in 39 starts for 4,007,258SEK earned. She bested Isla Jet (5f Bold Eagle-Ulta Jet-Love You) with Bjorn Goop aboard.

Early on the card the Trearingslopp (100,000SEK, three year olds, 2140 meters autostart) saw Expo Wise As (3m Ready Cash-Ladyone-Muscle Mass) score by open lengths at 1.7/1 odds for trainer/driver Alessandro Gocciadoro, the winner’s fourth victory in seven lifetime starts.
