Dayton Derbies nominations due August 15

Dayton, OH — Owners and trainers of outstanding older harness racing horses are advised that there is an Aug. 15 deadline to make “catch-up” supplemental nominations to the four $250,000 Dayton Derbies to be raced on Saturday (Sept. 30) at Hollywood Dayton Raceway.

A total of 114 horses are currently nominated and this is the final opportunity to get on those lists as there is no provision in the conditions for race time supplements.

At present, there are 40 horses nominated to the Dayton Derby for male pacers, 35 on the male trotters list, 23 eligible to the mares pace, and 16 nominated to the mares trot.
