The race office at Running Aces would like to remind harness racing trainers that nominations close in May for the first three late closer events of the 2023 season.
The Linkjack Hanover (event #1) is offered as a starter allowance/optional claiming series which gets underway with first-leg action ($9,000 ea. div) on May 23 and will continue for three consecutive Tuesday nights, culminating with the $18,000 Final on June 6.
Nominations ($150) are due by Tuesday (May 9) delivered in-hand or postmarked by the due date.
Event #2 is The Burning Blaze pacing series which is offered for non-winners of $12,500 lifetime through 4/15/23 (with allowances for MN-Sired horses and Fillies & Mares). It gets underway on Thursday (May 25) with $8,000 offered in each division of the first leg. The series covers three weeks of action and offers a $16,000 Final on June 8. Nominations ($125) are due on or before Thursday (May 11).
The Ron Banks Memorial is event #3 and is a free-for-all event for distaff pacers. Elimination races go for $20,000 in each division on Sunday (June 18) and will set the stage for the $35,000 Final on Sunday (June 25). Nominations are $300 and are due on or before Monday (May 22).
