HARRINGTON, DE – Rodney Wyatt, Kevin Peck and Gerald Burbage’s Designs On You (Badlands Hanover, $2.20, Allan Davis) was the fastest of 3 Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) 2-year-old stakes winners for harness racing pacing fillies Tuesday (Sept. 26) at Harrington Raceway.
The Eddie Dennis-trainee was a 1:58.2 winner as the short-priced favorite over American Marvel and Slipinsidewayz. It was the first career win for the filly.
Eddie Davis’ Nova’s Baby Girl (Nova Artist, $3.40, Davis) won the first division in 1:59.2 by open lengths over Classic Diamond and Bad Nella Monella. The filly earned her first lifetime win.
Jo Ann Looney-King’s Curtsyforpurrseco (Roddy’s Bags Again, $2.10, Ross Wolfenden) won the remaining division in 1:59 over Bella’s Dream and Seamsalilsassy. The filly notched her 2nd career win for trainer Jim King Jr.
Brenda Teague Inc.’s Tae (I’m Gorgeous, $3.60, Tony Morgan) was a 1:53.3 winner in the $20,000 Fillies and Mares Open. The 8-year-old led most of the way in her 4th win of the season for owner/trainer Teague. Best Head West was second with Divine Deo third.
Morgan had 4 wins on the card, while Allan Davis had 3.
Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule until October 18.
