East Rutherford, NJ – Eliminations for the $1.2 million Hambletonian and $580,000 Hambletonian Oaks highlight the Saturday, July 30 harness racing card.
Dining for the Pink buffet is still available and reservations can be made by calling 201-The-BigM. The Saturday menu features lobster corn chowder, NY strip steak, rigatoni pomodoro and clam bake surprise.
Saturday, July 30 is also the track’s annual seafood food truck festival. The fourteen featured vendors include: The Little Sicilian, The Empanada Truck, Magic Mike’s Smoked Meats, Angry Archie’s, The Mozzarella God, Star of the Sea Seafood, DAW Concessions, Green Dog Mobile, My Delicious BBQ, Paradise Taqueria, Fat Fox BBQ, Cat Like Reflexes, Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice and Ice Cream and Uncle Bob’s Kettle Corn.
Table and dining options are extremely limited for the greatest day in harness racing – the 97th Hambletonian Day, Saturday, August 6th.
Admission is just $5 and includes a commemorative Hambletonian hat for adults and kids. Doors open at 10 am with first race at 12 noon. Parking is free.
While Café and Lounge tables have sold out there are still a few remaining promenade tables available for purchase. The promenade tables seat four and admission is included with the $300 ticket.

Those looking for outdoor dining can now make reservations for the West Apron VIP tent. The $48.95 menu includes a mixed greens salad served family-style, beef sliders, brisket, pulled pork and mac-n-cheese for entrees. Diners can end the meal with homemade brownies, cookies and fresh watermelon. Reservations can be made by calling 201-TheBigM (843-2446).
